Hawaii, Guatemala is located on the Pacific Coast, about 16 kms from the border of El Salvador and a little over 140 km from Guatemala City.

By Car: Take Route CA-9 through Escuintla to Puerto San Jose. Then turn left and take the coastal route eastbound to Monterrico. Turn right onto Calle Principal then shortly after left to continue onto Hawaii, about 20 mins. or 7 kms further. During rainy season, take CA-2 from Escuintla to Taxisco and follow to La Avellana. Take a ferry to Monterrico and proceed.
By Shuttle/Bus: Shuttles can be booked from Antigua to Monterrico daily and cost about $10. From there you can take a taxi or have the hotel pick you up. There is direct bus service from Antigua that leaves around 5:30 am daily nearby the market.
